Have you ever been to the Holy Land? If you are a follower of Jesus, surely this is an item on your “bucket list”.
Each year we provide opportunities for you and your group (church group, small group, students) to come visit the Holy Land and the Nazareth Baptist School. This will not only be a highlight for you, it will be an encouragement for local believers and students.
On each of these trips you will be serving where Jesus served and walking where He walked! A partnership with Friends of Nazareth and the Nazareth Baptist School is indeed a life changing experience. Imagine traveling the Holy Land, visiting ministry partners, making new friends, and growing in your love for the Lord and your walk with Him. Can you say “Amen”?

Vacation Bible School Trips 2025
Week 1 (July 1-12), Week 2 (July 8-19)
Join other teams in supporting Vacation Bible School in Jesus’ hometown of Nazareth! Every summer scores of volunteers join Friends of Nazareth and the Nazareth Baptist School in providing a wonderful VBS experience for several hundred local children. There are two separate weeks of camp that will be served by up partnering Churches/Schools.
This is the longest running Evangelistic VBS in the land. Teams will serve alongside of local leaders in facilitating the week’s activities. You will go to bless others but you’ll soon realize you are the one being blessed. All teams will also visit key ares in the land of Israel before and after VBS. Most groups leave on Tuesday and return on the following Saturday, a 12 day experience. Cost is $2050 plus flights. Cost is for double occupancy rooms and does not include travel insurance, upgrades, passport costs or souvenirs.

Potter’s Wheel Camps 2025
Week 1 (July 29-August 9), Week 2 (August 5-16)
Friends of Nazareth works with the Nazareth Baptist School in Nazareth, Israel to host two weeks of overnight camps at the Baptist Village Campground in Petah Tikva, Israel. These camps are held during the summer months. The camps are called Potter’s Wheel 1 and 2.
This is the longest running evangelistic camp in Israel. FON works with Churches, Ministries, College groups to serve at the camp. Teams work alongside of local leaders in providing camp oversight/instruction. The goal is relationship building and the Gospel. Teams will share in crafts, games, skits, worship, and service. All teams have a chance to visit key spots in Israel to heighten their Bible knowledge before and after camp. Most Teams leave the states on a Tuesday and arrive back the following Saturday, a 12 day experience.

Spiritual Enrichment Journey
Oct. 21-Nov. 1, 2025
If you’ve ever thought about traveling to the Holy Land then this may be the journey for you—and your friends! FON President Roger Mardis invites you to join him for a Fall journey to Israel. The Fall SEJ will depart from Nashville and it promises to be a trip you will not soon forget.
October is a great time to travel to Israel with cooler temperatures and lush hills. You will stay in premium hotels and enjoy an abundant cuisine.
This journey will take you from “Dan to Beersheba” (North to South). You will visit Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee, float the Dead Sea, view Caesarea Maritima and Caesarea Philippi, Mount of Olives, Garden Tomb, and so much more. You will also visit Jesus’ hometown of Nazareth and see the Nazareth Baptist School.*
Total cost is $4995 from Nashville for double occupancy. There is an upcharge of $950 for single rooms. Registration opens on March 1, 2025 and is available for 30 travelers.
